Um\u00a0 grande abra\u00e7o para eles do Sport\u00a0que o merecem.<\/p>\n<p>Esta 1\u00aa meia final era quase uma final A, uma vez que nela estavam presentes os Campe\u00f5es do Mundo &#8211; NZL, os Campe\u00f5es Ol\u00edmpicos &#8211;\u00a0GBR e os Campe\u00f5es da Europa &#8211; GER.<\/p>\n<p>Com um in\u00edcio de prova muito lento ficando logo no \u00faltimo lugar, os nossos atletas estiveram &#8220;\u00e0 procura do preju\u00edzo&#8221; at\u00e9 meio da prova, fase em que ainda estavam em 5\u00ba lugar. Com uma voga constante de aproximadamente 38 vogas\/minuto, aos 1500 m recuperam para o 4\u00ba lugar passando\u00a0a equipa\u00a0da\u00a0Alemanha. Nos \u00faltimos 500 m passaram os Gregos\u00a0ganhando mesmo\u00a0algum avan\u00e7o e terminando com cerca de 2 barcos de dist\u00e2ncia. Classifica\u00e7\u00e3o final: 1\u00ba GBR &#8211; 6:55:50; 2\u00ba NZL &#8211; 6:57:48; 3\u00ba POR 6:59:29; 4\u00ba GRE; 5\u00ba GER; 6\u00ba NOR.<\/p>\n<p>Nada melhor que o registo da prova no site da FISA &#8211; World rowing<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lightweight Men\u2019s Double Sculls (LM2x) \u2013 semifinals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Semifinal One: <\/strong>This race was billed to be very like a final as both the World Champions (New Zealand) and the Olympic Champions (Great Britain) were lining up in the middle two lanes. So far this season Zac Purchase and Mark Hunter of Great Britain have taken one win and Storm Uru and Peter Taylor of New Zealand also have won once. Both crews were going to race to win to get that psychological advantage going into the final. Within an few strokes Purchase and Hunter had grabbed the lead and despite Uru and Taylor rating higher than the Brits, Great Britain moved away through the middle of the race. Uru and Taylor were not looking their best with their strokes shortening, while Great Britain remained long and powerful. <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">As Great Britain and New Zealand moved out further in front, behind them Portugal\u2019s Pedro Fraga and Nuno Mendes were demonstrating their modus operandi. Fraga and Mendes had an incredibly slow start and were playing catch up. Greece may have thought they had third wrapped up, but they had not reckoned with Portugal\u2019s sprint. <\/span><\/strong>Coming into the finish Great Britain remained in front with enough lead that they didn\u2019t have to push too hard, New Zealand held on to second <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">and Portugal came flying down the outside<\/span><\/strong>. Great Britain, New Zealand and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>a very happy Portugal qualify for the final<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>H\u00e1 ainda que contar com as equipas presentes na outra meia final, nomeadamente, a China que venceu com o melhor tempo das duas meias finais.
